At Guide Dogs of Hawaii we deeply understand the role that dogs play in providing us with safety, companionship, and support. We invite you to recognize the dogs who have impacted your life and hold a piece of your heart. With a donation of $500 or more, you can honor your furry loved one with a heart that we’ll add to this Wall for everyone to adore. Thank you, in advance, for helping us demonstrate how invaluable dogs are to all of us.

In Memory of Ramon
Ramon
May 19, 2019
Ramon, my trusted Chihuahua friend, was a reliable little companion. For twelve years, he served as something of a social critic, always issuing a shrill, ear-piercing warning to anyone brave enough to enter our home. It was a sad day when he took his last breath in May 2019, but I will forever fondly remember that little 9 lb. complainer.
Angela
Angela
April 28, 2006 – June 27, 2020
Angela was my second guide dog from Guide Dogs for the Blind, helping to
protect me  for almost 10 years.
She traveled over  a quarter of a million miles with me, guiding me swiftly
through airports, meetings and visiting friends.  Though she was petite at
50 pounds, she had a huge personality.  Angela lit up a room when she
entered as if to say, “Hello, I’m here.” She was a vibrant, irrepressible,
exuberant, and she certainly had the “joie de vivre till just before she
crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
I will always love you, dear Angela.  Much aloha and a hui hou.
