Guide Dog Workshops Day 1: Understanding guide dog partnership, responsibilities and rewards

Open to BVI individuals and support network who are interested in pertnering with a guide dog. Learn about guide dogs, the responsibilities and the benefits. Meet Guide Dog Mobility Instructors and get answers that will help you decide whether a guide dog partnership is a goal you want to achieve. This session is free to registered BVI individuals and their guides. Includes lunch.

Guide Dog Workshop Day 2: Guide Dog Teams- Ongoing education & improving working relationship

Open to all local guide dog teams, no matter what training center you graduated from. Re-enforced learning and training is not only good for the dog. It will be great for the handler! This day will docus on recalling what you learned at training, learning what is new, reviewing responsibilities, identifying challenges and finding solutions, and more! This session is free to all guide dog teams and includes lunch.
